So you’ve been scammed and want REVENGE?

Getting Scammed Sucks. Getting Revenge is Awesome!
Let’s stop those scammers from hurting someone else shall we ?

The first thing you’re going to need to do is find out some information about the website that scammed you. Visit ICANN and use the Registration data lookup tool.

You’ll get an output that looks something like this.

This tells me 2 things
1. They are using ddoscure.com to hide the identity of their hosting provider.
2. Namesilo.com is the Registrant for the domain .
The second point is very helpful. We can contact Namesilo and present our case to them for why (the scam website) should be Deactivated. A quick Google of “abuse ” and “namesilo” gives me an email.
abuse @ namesilo.com. Great.

Now for the email. Above all else, be respectful in your email. Keep to the facts of what happened to YOU. Include as much evidence as possible.
For example:
subject :Domain Deactivation Request
Hello,
My name is {name} and i was scammed by {website}
I deposited {amount} into a plan that was supposed to be {describe plan}
When i went to withdraw my money there was an issue

etc etc
you get the point. Include a screen shot of the plans which has the url in it too.

Now finish the email and send.

I won’t promise that this will work all the time, but at the very least you’ve made a complaint and done what you can. Don’t forget to contact us too so we can try and take the scam down too!

Good luck and stay safe.
